The Athletic Club Program Director

Rayne Herzog

Nationally Certified

  • AFAA Personal Trainer
  • INWA Master Trainer (International Nordic Walking Association)
  • Spinning® Instructor
  • Kickboxing Instructor
  • YogaFit Instructor

Rayne has been in the Burlington area for over twenty years. He has been active in the local communities, competing in triathlons and managing high-quality commercial and residential construction projects. His career, in the health club profession, began with co-ownership of Cyclelogic, an independent Spinning® business, with the idea of bringing Spinning® as a tool to people looking to train for outdoor bike racing and others looking for a safe and effective way to lose weight and get into shape. Through teaching Spinning® at area clubs, he came to the realization that there was a niche for people who’s needs were not being met by the local health clubs. These people needed some motivation and wanted not only an area to work out in, but a place where they felt welcome, comfortable and in the company of friends. After months of researching the local communities, he zeroed in on Shelburne as a central locale that could not only serve South Burlington, but reach as far south as Vergennes and all the neighborhoods in between. Thus, the creation of the Field House Athletic Club. He teaches Spinning®, Kickboxing, Circuit Training, Nordic Walking, and Senior Strength classes. Rayne is the General Manager and Race Director at the Field House Athletic Club. His goal is to maintain a warm, comfortable, friendly and clean environment. He truly wants the Field House Athletic Club to be a health and fitness education facility that meets every member's needs.
