SPINNING®

A group cycling class using specially designed stationary bicycles with aweighted flywheel. Imaginje going for a bike ride without fear of inclement weather or traffic! Please note: a water bottle and sweat towel are required for class.
You'll need them both!
 
Rider's Choice Spinning®
Let the instructor push you through a ride which simulates the real road. Go at your own pace, and do what you can. Keep in mind that during this class, you’re here for yourself and your own workout!
 
Endurance Spin
A different intensity than the others. Instead of the interval training of All-Terrain, we will keep your heart rate level through the entire class at about 65% to 75% of your max. Heart rate monitors are strongly encouraged - they are a smart and specific way to train!
 
Heart Smart Spinning®
For those of you interested in a great cardio workout but maybe not so much the loud music, try this out!  A fun, friendly class -even if you're new! Bring your heart rate monitor and let our instructor show you the ropes!
 
Strength Ride
Learn to climb hills with more power, strength and mental stamina. This class is a challenging endurance ride for the lower body. This ride maintains a heart rate in the 75- 80% range.
 
Interval Ride
This high energy motivating class will enhance your performance and your overall metabolism. This ride focuses on maintaining a heart rate in the 55-90% range. This ride includes more hills and focuses on moderate to heavy resistance.
 
Hour of Power
This ride is for those who want an indoor ride on the weekend! Join our instructor for a work out which focuses on power production and overall conditioning.

 

Aerobics / Dance

NRG BALL
This high-low aerobics class utilizing a 5lb ball with handles as an extension of our arms. Build a strong core and upper body all while getting a great cardiovascular workout.

Kickboxing
A non-contact interval based class which incorporates sports specific techniques used in boxing and kick boxing. This class concentrates on foot work, while delivering punches and kicks. Provides a great cardiovascular workout as well!

Zumba
Dance your way into a fitter you! Exciting and unique latin moves! Come join us for some fun fitness.

Strength/Conditioning

Body Sculpting
Tired of your same old weight training routine? Looking for some balance in your muscular strength? Strength training can play a major role in enhancing your body composition. Walk away with a better understanding in how to do particular exercises as well as building a new foundation for a better and stronger you.

Sculpt, Tone and Stretch
This class is a great way to start your day. Wake up and get the work out done bright and early. Feel guilt free after you spend a quick morning sculpting, toning up and stretching out.

JumpPilates
Jump Rope & Pilates Intervals-This class combines your favorite Mat Pilates excercises with short bursts of cardio to help you strengthen your "inner unit" and torch some calories so you can show it off!

Boot Camp
A new fitness offering in the field house! This class includes walking, running, jogging, sprinting, plyometrics, agility, and strength training. A heavy focus on core training and dynamic movements! This is a moderate to high intensity class, which emphasizes continuous participation for awesome results!
 
Total Body Conditioning
(In the Field House)
Take the thinking out of your work out routine.  This class offers a unique and challenging change to your current work out program.  This class is for beginners and elite.  So go ahead and step outside your comfort zone! 
Yoga
 
Power Yoga
This class presents a supportive and challenging flow of yoga asana that is open to all levels.  Each class is designed to strengthening and open our bodies while being enveloped in a light hearted attitude.

Advanced Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga

A dynamic vigorous flowing blend of poses that encourages an in- depth awareness of the body and the breath! The sequence of asanas will change from week to week, but every practice is challenging, sweat-inducing and fun. Leave feeling energized, centered and more flexible. Prior yoga experience recommended.


Flow Yoga (Beginner)
Flow yoga moves from one yoga posture into another in varying sequences. The beginner class focuses on correct alignment in all the basic postures and flows at a slower pace.

Flow Yoga (Intermediate)
This class introduces more advanced postures such as headstand, shoulder stands, cow pose or pigeon pose, and picks up the tempo of the flow for a more vigorous practice.

Mixed Yoga
Mixed yoga class combines elements of Flow yoga with classic Hatha yoga postures, held for longer periods of time, as well as elements of Kripalu yoga that emphasize the Body/Mind/Spirit connection. The 75-minute class offers a well-rounded moderately paced work-out that leaves you feeling relaxed and energized.

Yoga Ball
This class is a great way to strengthen the smaller, yet important, postural muscles and stabilizers that create a stronger structural

Pilates
Senior Pilates
This class is designed for seniors who are concerned about their strength, balance and flexibility. Heavy focus on classical Pilates methods, as well as the use of props, weights and a little humor. All levels and abilities are welcome!

Power Paced Pilates
This class is a mix of classic Pilate moves combined w/ use of props to deliver a
quick moving, efficient work out. If you are short on time and want to maximize
your efforts, this class is for you!

Mat Pilates w/ Props
This class utilizes various props to add some variety and resistance to traditional Pilates. Props include: circles, balls, bands, foam rollers and weights.

General Notes
  • All classes are subject to change of instructor or cancellation due to emergency or lack of attendance.
  • Please come to class on time and stay until the end - the warm-up and cool-down are some of the most integral parts of your workout. Each class will finish with stretches for your upper and lower body. Taking time to warm up and letting your body relax and stretch at the end will reduce your risk of injury and help you enjoy your workout that much more!
  • Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes after a class has started will not be allowed entry - this is for your own saftey!
  • Lastly, remember that every workout is your own! Work at your own pace and stop if you are uncomfortable or in pain.
  • Most of all, HAVE FUN!
